Mini test car 1988 – kit from LEGO® bricks

First, LEGO released the Technic kit 8865 "Test Car" in 1988, and then the Super Car six years later. It was amazing what the Danish company had come up with in terms of groundbreaking models even back then. The building instructions were quite something, though. 24 building stages for 900 parts – hats off to everyone who managed to do that right the first time!

I was inspired to build a mini version of the LEGO Test Car as well as its successor, the Super Car. Both are in my collection and are not that difficult to put together. I promise.
