The Lockheed Super Constellation, popularly known as the "Super Connie", was a successful four-engine, long-range aircraft produced in the 1950s for both civilian and military use (259 and 320 respectively were produced). It had a maximum cruising speed of 530 km/h. Thanks to the pressurised cabin inherited from its predecessor, the Constellation, the Super Connie was a safe and comfortable aircraft, had a crew of five and could accommodate up to 106 passengers. Retired in 1982, only four examples of the aircraft exist today, and are on display in the USA, Australia, Germany and France.
I developed this model in the summer of 2023. There are eight variants: Air France, Air India, Eastern Airlines, Iberia, Lufthansa, Thai Airways, Trans Canada Airways and Trans World Airlines.
