Literally called the "Red Head" after the red cylinder head covers of its V12 engine, the Ferrari is a 1950s icon that would cost you around €40 million if you wanted to buy one today! This hefty price is due to the fact that only 33 cars were made. And the racing successes and historical influence of the Testa Rossa also play a role here. The two-seater racing car with a tubular steel frame and six twin carburettors won the 1958 World Sports Car Championship and ten major races between 1958 and 1961. Although Commendatore Enzo Ferrari asked the designers to focus on endurance rather than speed, the car still reached 270 km/h and numerous revisions kept it competitive throughout its production period (1957–1961).

This car model was requested by a colleague at the Winterfeldt market. The biggest challenges for me were the door mechanism and creating enough space under the functioning tailgate for the full-size spare wheel.
