The rolling condo of VanCity VANLIFE – kit from LEGO® bricks

When Chrome Valdez, a DJ by profession from Vancouver, Canada, was struggling to make ends meet in the summer of 2017, he decided to try something new, something out of the norm. So he bought a white Ford Econoline van, got it in shape and set off on a whole new adventure. He turned on his camera from the very first moment and started documenting his exciting journey.

The YouTube channel VanCity VANLIFE chronicles Chrome's experiences of living in a van. This down-to-earth, big-hearted, self-described "weirdo" has seen his fan base grow in recent years, and now has over 181,000 followers on YouTube and over 19,900 followers on Instagram. Despite all this online support, life on the road can still get a little boring at times. Luckily, Chrome can always count on the company of his trusty bulldog named Cruz. Together they travel the vast expanses of Canada, sharing tips on living in a van with the rest of the world.
