Giant anteater – kit from LEGO® bricks

The giant anteater is a good two metres long from head to tail, making it by far the largest member of the order of toothless animals. It has no teeth at all in its distinctive snout, which is tubular and tapered. Its sticky tongue is only dangerous to ants and termites. However, if it gets into trouble, you should be careful of its claws.

Another striking feature is the long, bushy tail. This otherwise peaceful animal roams the savannahs and forests of Central and South America, gently sweeping the ground with it. Its sense of smell is very well developed, but its eyesight is all the worse. It does not always manage to avoid people who have just washed their hands.
