Beach buggy – kit from LEGO® bricks

This fun and colorful beach buggy by Elliott Mathews is inspired by the vehicle that starred in the 1974 film "Watch out, we're mad" starring comedian duo Terence Hill and Bud Spencer. Elliott says of the design: "Developing the car as a whole was fun. The rear window and tent roof were the biggest challenges."

The dune buggy in the film was made by Puma, an Italian company specializing in kit cars. The dune buggy was based on a VW Beetle chassis and was equipped with an air-cooled 1192 cc engine.
