Bare-nosed wombat – kit from LEGO® bricks

The bare-nosed wombat is a marsupial with a hairless snout and round ears. It feels at home in the south-eastern part of Australia, where temperatures are moderate and there is plenty of water. It also prefers slopes for digging burrows and grasses for eating and lining its burrows.

The wombat is usually peaceful, but not particularly sociable. It prefers to live alone in its cozy cave. If an unwanted member of its species approaches, it immediately smells it and drives the intruder away with an angry growl and grunt. The entire wombat population is estimated at around one million. In addition, the cute and harmless animals are protected species in almost all states in Australia.
