The American dream of a predatory dinosaur has been a success story for 38 years. In 2017, a newer version hit the car showrooms. But don't worry, ecological reasons probably didn't play too big a role in this.
Instead of a V8 engine, a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine with 450 hp is now used, which, if you put a little effort into it, is just as loud as its predecessor. The monster weighs two and a half tons and yet, according to various tests, easily manages any off-road challenge. The top speed is a limited 170 kilometers per hour, and the officially stated standard consumption is 14.7 liters.
The demonstrative superiority of the monster pickup ends in cities – at the latest in narrow streets and when looking for a parking space.
